About Us

Hannah Magness

INTJ, Enneagram 8, Pisces Sun, Libra Moon, Scorpio Rising. Will probably make you a custom playlist. Advocate for PawPaw walks

After earning degrees in government and international relations, with a focus on the Middle East, Hannah spent over a decade working in the nonprofit sector, supporting refugees, families in poverty, and education initiatives across the region.

While that work will always be part of her, in 2024, Hannah made the decision to move into a full-time writing career. Today, she channels the passion, discipline, and perspective gained from years of nonprofit work into the art of writing.

As a co-host of The Fiction Lounge podcast, she loves helping new writers break down the writing process, interviewing authors and publishing professionals across the industry spectrum, and building a space where writers can feel informed, supported, and less alone.

Hannah lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband and two cats. When she’s not writing, you can find her building a playlist for her current WIP, trying new recipes, or getting lost in a book world.

More information about Hannah and all of her links can be found on her website.
